WAFER is accepting applications for the Evening Manager and Evening Client Coordinator positions.

General Job Description – Evening Manager

Primary: The Evening Manager supervises volunteers and staff providing direction, coordination, and delegation of duties during food pantry distribution. The Evening Manager is also responsible for supervision of patrons.

Secondary: The Evening Manager will register patrons as needed during high peak times or to fill in for staff. Volunteer recruitment and retention is also encouraged.  Other duties as assigned or appropriate could include, but are not limited to nightly reports, providing agency tours, compiling marketing materials, etc.

Qualifications

One to three years experience in a supervisory role preferred.
Strong attendance record.
Education level of at least High School Diploma/GED.
Strong interpersonal communication, customer service, organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Basic food handling knowledge and safety preferred.
Basic computer skills, specifically data entry and Microsoft.
Ability to work in fast paced atmosphere with strong multi-tasking abilities.
Safe handling of sensitive materials and information.
Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, percentages.

Time Commitments

Hours are generally Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-8:00pm. Weekends, morning shift, or events as needed.

Starting Pay

$10.50-$12.50 per hour based on experience

General Job Description – Evening Client Coordinator

The Client Coordinator is responsible for greeting and registering clients, maintaining client and volunteer files, completing shift end reporting, and new volunteer registration

Qualifications

One to three years of computer experience, data entry experience preferred.

Strong attendance record.

Education level of at least High School Diploma/GED.

Strong interpersonal communication, customer service, organizational and leadership skills.

Ability to work a varied population in a in fast paced atmosphere with strong multi-tasking abilities.
Safe handling of sensitive materials and information.
Basic math skills including fractions, decimals, percentages.

Time Commitments

 $9.50-$10.50 per hour based on experience
